Hi group
Question about NTP. I am using one router as a ntp server. This router is
gettinig its time from a stratum 1 server.
What I think is strange about this is that the time I get shows 5 min slow.
why can that be, is this normal?
This is ntp config
ntp server 193.212.1.10
ntp server 193.71.1.10
ntp server 194.248.117.123
ntp server 129.242.4.254
this ishow command
core#sh ntp status
Clock is synchronized, stratum 2, reference is 194.248.117.123
nominal freq is 250.0000 Hz, actual freq is 249.9987 Hz, precision is 2**18
reference time is C7F99278.9BEF6799 (08:32:24.609 summer Wed Apr 26 2006)
clock offset is -0.1683 msec, root delay is 25.89 msec
root dispersion is 1.91 msec, peer dispersion is 1.62 msec
the time 08:32:24 is 5-6 min late.???
core#sh ntp associations
address ref clock st when poll reach delay offset
