CDP over FR multipoint

Hi all,

I've been cracking my head on this, couldn't really find an answer with the search from gs.

Specifically, how does cdp work over a frame relay multipoint interface?

        102 201 203 302
R1-s0/0--------------------s0/0.123 ------------------------s0/0-R3
                                   -R2

Say R2 is hub has a multipoint interface s0/0.123 & does static mapping with broadcast keyword for each map statement to R1 & R2. R1 & R3 are spokes use physical interface. On R1 it has static map to R2 (with the broadcast keyword) & a static map to R3. Same configuration on R3.
When cdp is enabled on R1 & R3 int s0/0 & on R2 int s0/0.123, how did R1 manage to receive cdp info about R3?

I did a debug fram packet & debug cdp packet, i noticed the following:
R1#
*Mar 1 03:06:43.903: Serial0/0(i): dlci 102(0x1881), pkt type 0x2000, datagramsize 346
*Mar 1 03:06:43.907: CDP-PA: Packet received from R2 on interface Serial0/0
*Mar 1 03:06:43.907: **Entry found in cache**
R1#
*Mar 1 03:07:24.363: CDP-PA: Packet received from R3 on interface Serial0/0
*Mar 1 03:07:24.363: **Entry found in cache**
R1#

Well from the debug it's clear that R1 received cdp info for R2 from an FR encapsulated packet sent by R2 over dlci 102. But after bout slightly after 40 sec, R1 receives a cdp packet from R3, but it did not receive any FR encapsulated packet??

Would really appreciate if someone could point me to some good reading on cdp...

Thanks in advance.

-K
