Hi,

A point to note, however, is that you don't necessarily need Cat6 to run
gigabit ethernet. You can go up to 1 Gbps on Cat5E and up to 10 Gbps on
Cat6. You must also consider minimum cable length (according to standards)
for both to work properly.
