ISIS is the preffered optionw from Cisco at the moment.
The development for new features is easier as ISIS
can be added to without creating new LSA types.
Functionaly they are the same as far as I remember.
So it might depend on what people are most comfortable
with. Just be aware that if you go multi area OSPF some
things like TE are a bit more difficult. However I am not
aware of any MPLS core that has scaled beyond one
ISIS L2 area.
