A customer with a medium-sized switched network has requested diagrams
breaking out each of their spanning-tree domains. For example: a
diagram of Vlan30 showing all participating switches, their
interconnected ports, costs and STP state (fwd/blk etc).
They are running PVST+ in an all Cisco environment. The customer (and
I) want to stay away from static drawings as they get stale quickly.
Does anyone have a favorite product that automates this process? Google
searches have brought me back a NMS package called LoriotPro and Visio
Resource Kit for IT Professionals... does anyone have any experience
with these products?
