Hi ,
 
I have a very basic doubt.
 
When I trace route to a particular IP address on my network.
 
I get one router's IP address twice ..
 
for eg:
 
voice-2801#tr 172.31.0.2
 
Type escape sequence to abort.
Tracing the route to 172.31.0.2
 
  1 192.168.1.254 4 msec 0 msec 4 msec
  2 172.16.2.41 4 msec 4 msec 4 msec
  3 172.16.2.41 8 msec 8 msec 4 msec
  4 172.16.2.22 8 msec 8 msec 8 msec
  5 172.16.1.6 20 msec 20 msec 20 msec
 
Any particular reason why i get this twice ?
