FYI to the group,
Most will probably know by the initial email here this is a scam that comes
around in many flavors.
They will either ask you to western union the fund to nigeria, china, or
some eastern european nation. (no offense to the honest residents of these
places). We even had a guy once selling phones in Houston, Texas but he was
actually caught by authorities in Houston picking up a sting money order
sent to his Mailbox Etc address.
Best advice I can give anyone is to just stay away..
I sometimes fish these guys as a courtesy to various online security groups
to see if they have developed any new techniques or dialog, but it is
usually the same. Here is an excerpt of my conversation with 'david bob'.
This guy has also used the name 'jack bob', the scam is so lame it is funny,
unless of course you get sucked in.
