one-way delay is probably going to be excessive. most
sat links I've dealt with had 250 ms propation and
network delay one-way. Add at least another 50-100 ms
for packetization and and jitter buffer. The two
biggest issues the user is likely to experience are
echo and that the caller and called party will find
themselves interrupting eachother more than normal.
Setup a small pilot demo so the client can know first
hand what kind of quality they can expect before they
sign up for the final solution.
