Failed first lab try

I used the NMC Doit-v6-II labs to practice. I did not actually configure all of them but thought i had a good grasp on what was being conveyed. They really did cover almost any topic you could have been asked, but recalling 25 labs worth of trick questions under pressure wasnt as easy as I thought. I thought I did ok on the lab and got past their worst zingers, but still my score report was way worse than I expected it to be. Definitely the biggest thing I came out of there realizing was that besides having an expert grasp of any of the material they may ask, you also have to have lightning speed configuring complicated things across multiple devices. I got cut short and I am a fast worker. I fortunately scored well on portions where I thought didnt do so hot, but areas I thought I got some points I got none. Its amazing that even having been thru all this training they can still ask you something that you never thought of.

I am now ready to try a different tactic toward passing this beastie. Who has recommendations for strategies that havent already been proffered? I was thinking of running the IEWB labs as if they were real labs to work on my speed. I have to bump up some of my home equipment. Anyone want to buy a lightstream? Please help me get over the last hurdle. I liked the decision trees and strategies people have posted, but it seemed like most of that stuff flew out the window under pressure...I didnt have time to draw diagrams and analyze things, it was type like madman from start to finish and I still didnt get all the sections done.

One thing was cool was the TCL scripts did work. Nothing like seeing 30 ping respones from different IPs with no misses! Thats why I am happy even tho i didnt pass I did acheive universal connectivity. Unfortunately there was a lot more required than just being able to ping everything. It was quite a thrill to get past their trick question and get things pinging. My buddy who's already passed said that when he passed the little speedbumps he hit all went smooth where previously they dragged him down. I hit 2 major speedbumps that really killed my momentum. Easy stuff too, just fat fingers i guess. I retyped stuff and it worked but troubleshooting killed a lot of time. ARG!

Thanks for any help!
