The Phone jack in your wall is a FXS port, so you will have to connect
it to a FXO port on your 2611 gateway. Other than that, it should work.
So, it would be:

Phone Line ----> 2611 Gateway (FXO) ----> Internet ----> AS5400 ---->
PSTN via FXO card. If you were connecting telephone stations rather
than uplinks / downlinks from the PSTN, then you would use FXS in lieu
of FXO. Hope this helps.

Subject: FXS and FXO

Hi,

Sorry for the OT but do anyone have a sample configuration of the follow
setup
for FXS and FXO ports? Could this setup work?

Phone Line --------->FXO and FXS on
2611------->Internet----------->Voice GW
(AS5400)--------->PSTN

Thanks in advance.
