Sorry Frank, can you plaese clarify your question, I thought that IP
Ospf authentication is enabled by default but with the null
authentication, then when you enable the type of authentication (MD5 /
Clear), the at the global ospf routing process you could enable
authentication on all OSPF Interfaces, or you can also change the
authentication type at interface level.
