You don't mention what routers you have. If they are similar models and/or
support the same IOS version as the IEWB routers you will have a better
chance at success. There is a router where you need 4 serials (R3) and you
will need several dual Ethernet routers. Suggest trying to match up what you
have with the diagram from the IEWB and see how that works for you.

Subject: IEWB-RS Lab Workbook

Hi Everyone,

I'm beginning to prepare for the CCIE - RS lab and I was curious as to
whether or not the IEWB-RS Lab Workbook would be useful for me based on
the equipment that I'm currently using for my preparation. Currently I
have 6 routers connected together using a frame-relay switch (2522
router) and I also have 2 2924 switches. I believe the workbook will
allow me to prepare properly, but I will use rack rental to fill in for
the Multi-layer switching segment because I do not have layer-3
switches.

Based on my setup, do you think I'll be able to do most of the scenarios
in the workbook, or is there something that I'm missing?

Thanks,
