Yes, the XENPAK10GB-LR is supported in the Catalyst 3750G-16TG.

I just installed one last week.

Subject: OT: Catalyst 3750 10Gig XENPAK query

Hi Group,

Sorry for the OT, but does anyone out there know if the 10 Gigabit port on
the Catalyst 3750G-16TG switch supports the XENPAK10GB-LR 10Gigagbit Fibre
interface module ?.

I know Cisco say that you need the C3-XENPAK10GB-LR for the 3750G-16TG but
on the www.cisco.com <http://www.cisco.com/> Cisco states that the
XENPAK10GB-LR and C3-XENPAK10GB-LR are functionally the same. The only
difference is the product number change.

i.e.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/prod_bulletin0900aecd
8026105b.html
<https://mail.caeuk.com/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.cisco.com/en/US
/products/hw/switches/ps5023/prod_bulletin0900aecd8026105b.html>

Has anyone tried this.

Any info would be much appreciated, thanks group,

Best Regards,

Malcolm
