Don't be worried about suboptimal routing on the lab (you don't get extra
credit for that). Just do what the lab tells you to do.

Subject: RE: Redistribute - more redundancy or more safe from loops
Thanks both of you,
I also find the redistribution most interesting. Ok for loops I understand
that if nothing is said I put some filters somewhere in order to eliminate
them.
What about suboptimal routing. For example a RIP domain next to OSPF domain
and two common routers connect them. I know what to do in order to eliminate
the suboptimal routing - using distance but do I need to do this really if it
is not said. As long as all addresses are reachable is it a mistake to leave
it to default routing decisions.
Something else. Can we define where we have to be more careful. For example
Eigrp external routes redistributed back into the eigrp domain
OSPF external routes redistr back into OSPF domain
RIP routes back into rip domain.
Best,
Nick
