IMHO, they usually explicitly or implicitly state what should be used
here.. If you have an HSRP task and a separate DHCP task in your IOS
features section applied to the same segment-VLAN and DHCP task doesn't
tell you any specific IP numbers for default gateway, 99,(9)% chances is
comes from HSRP.

If there were no HSRP section at all and you have to provide a default
gateway redundancy via DHCP, chances you are implicitly asked to
implement HSRP are slim, until the task is scored 4+ :-)
