OT: kiwi syslog

Hi,
 
Is anyone using kiwi syslog as a syslog server ver 7.2.20
 
It has some kinda filters, which should allow me to log the data in
different text files based on IP addresses.
 
i have tried that ...but just doesn't seems to work properly.
 
might be it doesn't work on the freeware , not sure though.
 
An email from someone who is using it would be nice.
