RE: Proctors in Bangalore-India

While the proctor may not DIRECTLY influence the passing or failing of a
test, he/she certainly does have the potential to make the day as decent as
possible or to suck. All that may go to the mental state.

Like Rodrigo said though, telling Cisco (ccie@cisco.com) is the only way to
address that and get it fixed. Although, I would suggest taking on a more
professional tone yourself if you want to be heard rather than blown off.

Just my thoughts.

Scott

First off I completely agree with Rodrigo's suggestion to write a formal
complaint to ccie@cisco.com. This is the ONLY way you will be able to get
these issues addressed.

Second, the Proctor is there to "guide" you through the exam....not give it
to you. Sounds like to me that he did know what the issue was with the one
question you pointed out, but knew it was more "straight forward" then the
candidate was interrupting it to be, thus his response.

Third, exams for the most part are grade by the next Lab center to the West
(Chase the Sun), ask Cisco they will tell you, so the Proctor in you center
has nothing to do with you passing or failing.

Forth, I am not sure what you are talking about at the end of your email,
but if you are just trying to spread rumors just to spread rumors, then
please don't use this email group. If you have legitimate proof that Cisco
has held or failed (as I think you are trying to insinuate) then come
forward with the evidence yourself. None of this hear say stuff "I heard
from my brothers, friends, sister, that sold a dog to the proctor who said
we are holding test results just to hold them." I mean what does Cisco
gain by holding the test results of a candidate? It is not like the
integrity of the test is lost, and in fact in my experience some of the low
number CCIE have said the newer test are more difficult, as they should be.
So Cisco gains nothing by trying to limit the number expert engineers that
are in the market.

Just my thoughts, sorry to get on a rant,

Aaron
