I have done the conversion several times.
The first time I tried to use the catOS to IOS config conversion tool. I do
not recommend it. As the catOS config may have a lot of unneccessary lines
in it from itterations over the years and these are just garbage in the IOS
config.
I have found it to be less of a headache to just scrap the config and start
from scratch after the conversion to IOS. This may take a little more time,
but at the end you will have a clean config that you know will work.

Subject: Upgrading 6500 from catos to ios
Hey there Folks,
Has anyone undertaken this recently or has anyone got any good links for it?
I've had a look on cco, but I can't seem to find what I'm after....
Many thanks in advance,
LH
