Advertise VLAN into BGP

Lab 5 V1 Task 6.8 it says: "Advertise VALN 55 and VALN 2005 into BGP on R5"

I get confused with these below

1- When I advertise these networks (VALN 55 and VLAN 2005),,do I need to be aware if these networks are existing in IGP table (unicat table)?

2- Do I need to use command "no auto-summary" under BGP ?

3- Do I need to use keyword "mask" ,with the "network" statement ?

4- Does the word "advertise" in the question means redistribute ?,,,because with BGP we have many way of redistributions :

A- By using "redistribute" command.
B- By using "network" command.

Here is this task we have used "network" coomand.
