A 3640, 2811, or 2821 will work in place of the 3825. In my personal
development rack I use a 2821.

Subject: IEWB-RS Volume1, Version 3 - Router 6
Hi group,
Quick question........
I've up-graded my Internetwork Expert WB to the latest version and now
I'm in the process of upgrading my existing lab equipment. Router 6 is
required to present dual GigE LAN interfaces, according to the workbook
a 3825 is ideal choice.
That's a wee bit out of my price range so I was wondering if there are
any reasons including loss of features etc if I were to use a CISCO 2821
as my router 6 in place of 3825. I think it should be fine but I'd like
some reassurance before I invest my hard earned money.
All feedback is appreciated.
regards,
Mattie.
