Hi,

As far as I know you can use a switch card with
gigabit (such as the WS-X6516A-GBIC) and depending on
the Giga modules you use you are able to use CWDM or
DWDM.
Now, the questions is...how? Someone suggested using
the Cisco WDM Series of CWDM Passive Devices (see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps5455/products_data_sheet0900aecd8029d01b.html
) but I dont really see how. Is there any further
configuration to do? Do I just plug the giga-modules
in the passive devices and lay fiber as will??
Please, help much appreciated...this issue is a bit
urgent...
