Hi there,

In the book L2 VPN Architectures ISBN: 1-58705-168-0
On page 259 and 260 they create additional loopbacks on PE2, advertise them in IGP and then make recursive routes (on PE1) to next-hop addresses for "pseudo-wire class preferred-path peer"

Why don't they just do immediately enter the next-hop's (P1/ P2) in the preferred-path peer command?
