Are the switches L3 or L2 switches and are the connections between the
switches L2 or L3?
If they are L2 switches looks like you'll need to modify STP port cost or
priority values to make it work correctly.

I misphrased my last request. If you have 2 switches with "2" Links in
between and wanted to do a "layer 3" type channel to provide you both
redundandcy with dual links and set up for layer 3 for HSRP. What would be a
good way to go about this ??.
