Do you mind just sending us back a text sketch of your set-up. For example:

pc------INTERNET--------homeRouter---------terminalSrv-----------rack

The above example happens to be my own set-up where I have port forwarding
set-up on my homeRouter. Like this i can open multiple secure ssh sessions
to all devices concurrenlty.

I had a very similar qtn few months ago and BrianM, Marvin and Marc helped
me come up with the above solution. Let's see if they can help but you need
to help them by describing the your set-up in much more detail.
