Hi group,

Here is a representation of my config:

Interface FastEthernet 0/1
Ipv6 address 2001:abc:abcd:1::2/125
Ipv6 nat

Interface Serial 0/0
Ip add 172.16.123.2 255.255.255.0
Ipv6 nat

Ipv6 nat v6v4 source 2001:abc:abcd:1::6 172.16.123.6
Ipv6 nat v4v6 source 172.16.123.1 2001:abc:abcd:dd::6
Ipv6 nat prefix 2001:abc:abcd:dd::/96

Ipv6 router ospf 1
Router-id 2.2.2.2
Redistribute connected

I believe this is all I need to enable v6 to v4 translation and vice
versa, but can someone explain to me why when I ping from either cloud
to the other I get this output [!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!] instead of
[!!!!!!!!!!!!!]? On the 172.16.123.1 router in the v4 cloud, I have
static arp entry for the NAT ip address. I even tried with a static
route but get the same results.

Thanks,

Roni.
