I totally disagree. The CCIE cert will be as hot as Cisco products are
selling in the field. Remember 4 CCIE's is the bare minimum you need for
gold partnership, the more Cisco grear you sell the more CCIE's you will
need on staff. Also remember the R&S track is thee hottest track. Look at
Voice, Security and others they are VERY few in numbers. I think another
reason is because everyone and their mother has a CCIE router lab, I have
one and it cost me less than 1500.00. When I start seeing "Passed CCIE lab
first time!" over and over again then I will start getting worried, just
about everyone that has passed in the last 6 months has been on there 2nd or
3rd try.
