Hi Hoogen,
Man, it has been a long time, anyways, This is what you need to do
The communication between the PXM to RPM is ATM, create a addcon like
PVC, that will do the logical requirement in layer 2, this is when your
8850 node is reachable only through the RPM card. I think you also have
a Ethernet at the PXM have u used it, if you have used the make the
default route towards that Ethernet.
The configuration to reach PXM is through the RPM then,
The PXM command would look something like this
addcon 251 1000 320000 5 2 1 2
Now, you also need to add a route at the PXM a default towards any one
of the RPM, make sure the return path is also reachable.
The RPM command would look something like this
addcon vcc switch 1.10000 15 rslot 7 34 0 34 master local rpcr 353208
rmcr 0 rutil 100
Hope this helps.
Thanks and regards,
Raja

Hi Guys,
Sorry for this off topic but i am trying to troubleshoot a problem I am
encountering in my MGX 8850. Locally on the box i am able to telnet and
ping my manageable ip on the PXM but if i try doing the same from a
remote network the traceroute stops at the RPM card and doesnt complete
the trace towards the PXM.
Any help would be helpfull.
Regards,
Hoogen
