The router may have two 8 meg flash sticks to make 16 megs total and not
a single 16 meg stick.

how bout just getting another 16mb flash stick for $20 on ebay? i don't
think you can combine two physically separate memory locations to load a
single IOS....that would be like loading half of WinblowsXP on C: drive
and
the other half on an external USB drive.
