Hi Top,
didn't realise you wanted that redundancy.
I don't see any problems with using the distance command with BGP the way
you have it in your config.
Good solution as far as I can see.. You would probably be best to put this
on both R1 and R2 though to make sure you get the desired solution
regardless of whether R1 or R2 come up first. (again, without knowing the
full picture, i'm guessing on what the overall topology is)
