mohd,
i believe the ping command can be use to generate packets to a multicast
group, u can use the extended ping if you feel u want to be specific about
your souce.
your second question,
the clockrate is use by the line as the speed of encording the bits and the
Bandwidth command is what the routing protocols use in there respective
metric calculation.
