Hi,
It was my second attempt, the first was on September 1st 2005. Always in
Brussels.
This time the proctor was a nice guy called Erik.

That's cool, since you have taken it a few times have they all been in
Brussels or else where. That question shouldn't break NDA.
Thanks

Yes I did,
what I can say that doesn't break the NDA is that Cisco kept its
promise!
They did respect the new blueprint.
Best of luck
Gustavo

Thanks

...PASSED!!!
Hi Guys, I'm very proud to announce that I finally managed to achieve
our common goal: the CCIE. I'm number #15622
I wish to thank all of you, without exception, because without all the
daily input it would be a very solitary and frustrating trip towards
this certification.
Most of all I wish to thank my wife who coped with me during this almost
one year desert trip, my 16 month old son, who was responsible for
giving me a very troubled night on the eve of my trip to Brussels.
That simply means that when I got to the hotel room, I wasn't awake
enough to be worried about the exam, I just wanted to sleep. Which I
did, and very well.
I think that a good night sleep is 75% of what is necessary to pass this
exam.
Most of people on group study is already at CCIE level. The difference
is on the psychological factor and how to take an exam.
I do not need to say again what is commonly said by everyone that
passes, read the exam, draw a diagram, review things one or two times,
and do NOT give peace to the proctor! He is there to help you, you just
need to know how to ask things.
The damn thing is passable!
Best of luck to you all (Guru's and not so Guru's) and thank you!
Gustavo Novais
