No, it's just as I stated. As I mentioned, the alternative is to use the tunnel protection commnad (which is applied to the tunnel interface)- see the link in my previous email for more on this.

Sorry, I don't have a link regarding the change in the requirement for the application of the 'crypto map' command in IOS 12.2(13)T- maybe someone else on the list can point a CCO link out (or perhaps just have a quick rummage around CCO)???!
