What rommon version is this, and how do I get ahold of it? This requires
replacing the ROM chip, correct? I saw some Cisco docs regarding increasing
memory capacity in the 2600XM platform, but couldn't find anything similar
for the 2600's.

Yes. You can also just upgrade the flash in the 2620 and 2621 to 32Mb
if you have the newest rommon.
