One way to build your serial box is to look at E-Bay for a serial console.
You can find BlackBox, HP, 3Com, etc. Just a quick look I found one 16 port
serial console port switch. The second way is to add a serial PCI card to
you computer. I found 8 port and 4 port cards on EBay for under $50.
With a tool like PC Anywhere for Microsoft or UNIX/Linux you can build
remote access in to the computer for access to your lab. So while at work
you can practice your IPv6!
