Interesting I wonder if Cisco is slowly going after the lab and rack rental

Subject: Cisco Launches Pre-Lab Assessment for CCIE Certification
12 DEC 2005: Cisco Systems announces the availability of the CCIE Assessor
Lab for Routing and Switching, the first CCIE practice lab and assessment
developed and offered by Cisco. With CCIE Assessor Lab, candidates can
assess their strengths and weaknesses and improve exam readiness using Cisco
equipment and lab scenarios-all from their own desktop.
Designed as an option for Exam Preparation, the four-hour CCIE Assessor Lab

detailed assessment of their performance, including the correct command
lines and suggestions for further study. The CCIE Assessor Lab is currently
available only for the CCIE Routing and Switching track. Assessment labs are
being developed for the CCIE Security and CCIE Voice tracks as well.
From December 12, 2005 thru March 31, 2006, Cisco will offer a special
introductory price for each CCIE Assessor Lab scheduled before March 31,
2006. Assess your readiness for the CCIE Lab Exam. Enroll today!
