When in the lab, you will be given specific details on what to configure.
If you are told to configure a priority queue and not instructed to modify
the Tc or burst traffic, then you should not have to configure any values,
the IOS defaults should be sufficient, however ALWAYS verify this with the
proctor.
Also, the priority command is in KB, so to configure a queue for 1MB it
would be "priority 1000".
HTH,
Christian

Subject: Policing - bc and be values - when - ??
Hi:When using policing and if only the bw is given, do we have to calculate
the bc and be values in the Lab? The InternetworkExpert labs do not have the
bc and be values calculated when using the police cir command in their Labs.
For example if using the cmd #priority 1000000 for 1mb, then if we have to
calculate the bc and be values, they come out to be 187500 and 375000 which
is different from what the IOS calculates. How is it really required in the
Lab? Confused !! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!
