Hi Victor,

Ok, here is a litle history first.

Just after the second world war, the dead sea scrolls were found in a cave,
on the shore of the... Dead Sea. Hence the name.. Dead Sea... Scrolls.
Before they were found, most of the bibles in use were taken from copies
that were made about 1000 CE. The dead sea scrolls date back to around 200
BCE through to 60 something CE. So... suddenly people were able to see just
how accurately the bible translations had survived over that 1000 year gap.

So moving to the book now... In light of his quote, he would most likely be
referring to the fact that that this RFC is where it all originates, and
that if you wish to know more about the topic... you will need to go and
read this RFC.

Although... that being said... Sometimes I would LOVE to have a Rosetta
Stone type of book on some of these topics. One translation could be in
RFC-speak, and the transliteration could be in normal human language! heh

Hmm... a market gap there maybe? RCFs for Dummies?

Dan
