Okie... I will try using GRE. Does anyone has a sample config or any
good link to configure the tunnel(without creating new set of P2P ip
address) for the following example? Tks in advance!

I do not believe NEXT HOP SELF solves the problem here - think about it-
-you need to go through R2 to get to R1 - R2 is going to look in its
routing
table for the DESTINATION BGP network and it is not going to be there!
