Woooo slow down here Scott I know that you are a quad CCIE, a guru at networking, and been helping this study group out for many years. But that does not mean that you can put me down like that. I dont give a shit if you have ten CCIE and been on this study group for year in the end you are just a human being like me and I feel that I should be treated with respect.
This conversation has been offline between me and Brian Dennis for the past hour or so and I would appreciate if you can mind your own business. If you wish to share your thought share it with respect.
Again, this conversation from the start was intended to know if anyone else has the same problem as me with the IE workbook upgrade. Last but not least, Brian was mentioning about sale and business sense and all I did was giving him some of my ideas and thought with respect.
I have been on this group for a couple of years now and I had noticed beside all the CCIE study materials, was some of these CCIE thinking they are the shit. For a refresh in memory we are all human being and we are all equal. The CCIE certification will help you in some of your job issues but also bring some issue at the same time ;-).

While I don't profess to know much about Brian's business sense or business
model, I would have to agree with him that hiring someone temporarily isn't
necessarily a good idea.
That doesn't mean that he can't find ways to improve things (everyone can),
but IMHO that wouldn't be it. And this forum wouldn't be the place to air
that laundry anyway.
Would you like some fries with that? Or a picture with Santa? Or perhaps a
free sample of perfume? (akin to the temporary help in some mall shops)
Personally, I'm looking to hire those guys from Capital One. I think
they'll make a much more exciting marketing statement. ;)

Brian,
Are you saying that the entire mall in the United State does not make any
business sense because they hire more sale people just for the holiday
season? The choice to hire are not is not my concern. Instead that is your
concern because that is your company. From the start I was just curious if
anyone else is having the same problem as I am. Also, since you had
mentioned about "Sale" I was just giving you my 2 cents from a customer
point of view. Last but not least, now you have mention about "business
sense" so I'm just giving you my thought about it. Simple as that and lets
leave it like that...

Like I said we arent going to hire someone just for the few
days after the workbook is released. If you left a voice mail it will be
followed up on. I dont see a voice mail in the sales log from anyone named
John.
Lastly if you want to purchase someone elses workbook because
you cant reach as sales person during our busiest time then thats your
choice but Im not going to hire someone just because you cant get a hold
of someone during these first few days after the new workbook is released.
It doesnt make business sense.

Group & Brian,
Brian when we are talking about sale we are not talking about the value
but more of a person or a human being. You can make a million out of a
single product, but if the customer doesn't return due to the fact no sale
person pick up the phone then that million of dollars will be gone before
you will even notice. If you only make one cent out of a single product but
the customer return then that one cent will be million before you will even
notice. That is just my 2 cents and I will give you a call tomorrow ;-)

John,
So we should hire another sales person just because we are swamped for the
first few days after the release of the new workbook? Ok we'll do that just
for you but now your workbook is going to cost $80,495. That's $80,000 to
cover the cost of the new sales person and $495 for the workbook ;-) So it's
probably better to just call me directly so that we don't have to tack on
the $80,000 to your workbook ;-) But if you want the new sales person option
let me know and I'll even throw in free shipping.

Group & Brian,
Thank you to everyone that took the time and patience to send out they
thoughts. I guess there is not much that I can do but keep sending email and
try to call them back. Last but not least, Brian you " should " spend some
money and hire some sale rep so that the service would be the same as the
workbook ;-).

John,
Sorry if you are experiencing any delays but our sales team is totally
swamped to say the least. Today alone they received over 200 sales e-mails
and at least 60 phone calls. That's not even taking into account the
literally hundreds of upgrade orders that they have been processing since
the new workbook was released late last week.
If you have a specific questions feel free to call me directly at

you have ;-)

Hello Group,
Does anyone else having the same problem as I am? When ever I try to contact
internetworkexpert no one ever pick up the phone. I have been trying to
contact them since beginning of last week till now. It seems that they do
not have any sale rep and also no operator person to talk to. I'm kind of
confused and I would like to know if anyone else is having this same
problem. Last but not least, I had also tried to send them emails but still
no luck. They workbook is great but what is the use and advantage if you can
not get a hold of them.
