As far as I know distribute-list out is limited to external routes.
Distribute-list in applies to all routes.

what i know is:
1) can use distribute list, but that applies to ext
routes only
2)just found out inter area routes(type 3)can be
filtered using filter list (trying it out now on the
routers)
it just that i feel the routes
manipulation(filtering)part just isnt that simple
someone just mention a hint on tweaking "ospf
database" .....woa i didnt know we can do
that.....anyone has a simple example or any links to
an example to this?
