Hi Steven,

From my understanding your assumption is correct because if you need to
have fully meshed configuration with all the routers connected into
different area connected into area 0 you would have to configure virtual
links to accomplish that and the authentication used for the virtual
links it would have to be the same for the area 0 otherwise they won't be
able to communicate between them.

So it should be something like this:

area 10 virtual-link <remote_router_id_ip_address>

<remote_router_id_ip_address>: BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE BECAUSE THE
REMOTE IP IS NOT THE IP ADDRESS OF THE REMOTE ROUTER BUT THE ROUTER-ID OF
THE REMOTE ADDRESS

So that's why I always like to hard coded and put router-id with all my
routers when using ospf

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong but that's is my understanding.
