Router EIGRP 100 on 3550

Hi,

Following task 5.10 in IE Lab 1, I enable IP ROUTING on 3550 switch and then
when I give command

router eigrp 100 in global configuration mode, it gives me error message
"Unknown Routing Protocol"

Even when I give router ? command it shows all the list of protocols
including EIGRP.

If I give onlu router eigrp it gives error that %Incomplete command...

It does accept command

router rip and take me to the router mode. The IOS on my switch is

c3550-i9q3l2-mz.121-19.EA1c.bin

Any clue why its not accepting router eigrp 100 command?
