Is there any way to increase the span ports configurable on a 6500
switch?
I know you can configure 2 span sessions and add multiple sources and
destinations to each but is there any way to increase this limit of 2?
I already have my probes and sometimes a NAM which takes up one span
port. I have IDS requirements from the security group and now I'm
getting one offs all over the place for database appliances etc....
Is there a piece of hardware that can be purchased to increase this or
would that only allow more sources and destinations but the same amount
of span ports as well?
