Ditto to what Daniel talked about...

I too have seen a couple incorrect explanations, but I am only as far as RIP
on the cover to cover reading. Overall it is top notch, as is expected from
Doyle.

I would guess that if you really read the text with the figures to
understand and not passively read it, you will spot the errors and
understand what it should have been.

Sounds something like "listen to what I mean, not what I say."

Also a bit off topic, take a read through the individual topics in the
Casolow/Pavlichenko book just before reading the same topic section in
Doyles book. For me it made the reading of some of the Doyle topics in v1
more enjoyable to read. Yes it is more reading, but for me it helps with
getting those checklists down for issue spotting.

(Cisco Certification - it is a bit dated, but the concepts are completely
relevant)

Recommended!

Excellent book! Can't recommend it enough!

There are a few corrections I have sent to Ciscopress and Jenny.

In chapter 2 and all over the book, Site-Local and Link-Local addresses
should be

FEC0::/10 and FE80::/10

and NOT

FFC0::/10 and FF80::/10

as referred to so often in this chapter (e.g. see pages 54, 55 and 72).

However, that doesn't diminish the greatness of this book! I am reading it
cover-to-cover. I'm on page 641 now.

BTW, order it directly from Ciscopress, it is cheapest there.
