Ma,
Ask your ISP which layer 2 protocol and routing protocol are they going to
run? eg frame relay, IMA, MLFR, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.
If all your router is going to be is a CE (customer edge) router, you are
not going to do most of the MPLS stuff, your ISP will do them on your behalf
in their PE - P routers. All you need to concern yourself with is, if yous
CE router will be able to support the layer 2/3 protocols to be used.
The response you get from your ISP will guide you in the right direction. If
their their response is eg Frame relay & OSPF, then just confirm that your
current IOS can support Frame relay & OSPF and that is it.
