I have taken two of the CheckiT labs thus far. I have not taken the actual
lab yet (jan 26th), but others that were in the NMC class with me that have
been through the lab say the CheckiT is a great gauge of how you would do in
the actual lab. Most that I have talke too also say the CheckiT is very
realistic in terms of what you will find in the lab. I can tell you more
after jan 26.
You have to still think about how to use a given technology or feature, and
their feedback is awesome.
Here is a link to the NMC web page.

CHECKiT
You can go under the report link there to see a sample of their output from
the CheckiT labs.
I do not know if IE has a sample output of the Mock labs, but I am sure if
you could ask IE about that.
Hope this will shed some insight into the quality of the NMC product!
Best Regards,
Wayne
P.S. I have no vested interest in either company. I am very impressed with
what Bruce, Val, and Bob of NMC, and The Brians at IE have put together.
P.s.s. I heard there is a school out of Chicago that has a very high success
rate with their mock lab program.

Subject: Re: Check-IT and Mock Labs - outcome realistic?
I can speak to the InternetworkExpert Mock labs - I have taken three of the
four so far and I feel there is no better barometer for how you will do!
In fact - the mock labs point out what puzzles so many about the actual lab
experience.....I felt FOR SURE I passed Mock Lab 3 with an 86 - yet I failed
with a 74. These labs are excellent at demonstrating the many ways that you
think you are earning points during the lab when you are in fact NOT earning
points.
The only issue with the mock labs that I can see is that you might be
little TOO FAST at completing them because you get so used to their STYLE of
lab. For example, InternetworkExpert always tends to structure the 3550
section the same way.....in the actual lab you will get diagrams and
instructions that may vary dramatically from what you are used to with
InternetworkExpert. To compensate for this - I would say that the
InternetworkExpert Mock Labs are substantially harder than the actual lab,
however.
