I'm trying to set up NTP on CallManager pointing to a router acting as an NTP server. I have other routers using the NTP server router so I know that NTP is working fine on the router acting as the NTP server.
On CallManager, I first edited the ntp.conf file pointing it to the IP address of the NTP server router. I stopped and restarted the services and made sure I have connectivity but no luck.
I then decided to update CallManager manually using the ntpdate.exe command. This actually semi-works. I see the time change on CallManager but it's 4 hours off what the router clock is. The router and CallManager are both in the same time zone.
Question 1) Any ideas on the ntp.conf problem? This is the more desired way.
Question 2) Any ideas on how to adjust the 4 hours off problem when synching manually?
Thanks in advance.
Mike
