How 2 BackUp..

Hello All,

R1 -------------------------

-----------FR---------------R3

R4--------------------------

Using only the physical interface, all VC from the frame-relay switch will be
learn via LMI correct, and all routers are statically PROTOCOL/DLCI to each
other (R3 is the HUB).. Not using redundant Broadcast in the spokes..

If R1 and R4 also have an ISDN Circuit, and I want to backup the Interface to
the Frame-relay cloud.. Suppose that the serial interface to the FR is gone
in R1, I cannot use isdn backup interface because R4 will still receive LMI
from the FrSw, and the BRI will continue to be in standby state in that router
right ?

So Applying this logic, how can I maintain full reachability between R1 and R4
using

EIGRP,

OSPF

ISIS,

RIPV2,

BGP,

Floating Static Routes..

In the options that I can remember are:

EIGRP:

Using Dialer Watch to R4 some address, and off course running the same
protocol on the ISDN Cloud.

OSPF:
Dial on Demand

ISIS?

I guess that Dialer Watch could also help me here

RIPV2

Jeje Dialer Watch (I'm out off more reasons), maybe ip rip triggered

Floating Static, to the connected routes of the remote router..

:D

Any complementation here please

Thanks
