If you transfer someplace though, it's no big deal.

Last time I went to Canada, I flew up through Boston. I flew through
Cincinnati, which while it is an international airport, that's US-side. US
immigration actually had their own setup in Toronto when I went. A time I
went up to Halifax, they did not, so I went through the customs stuff in
Boston, even though that wasn't my "first-hop" airport.

Check with your travel agent as they will know all of that stuff. If you
bought your own ticket, call the airline you're flying. They'll have
someone who knows.

maybe "Charlotte/Douglas International Airport" is another option,,,,?
