You're right. I was thinking of the output of the show vtp status command.
What command are you referring to?

Also, what OS and version are you using, CatOS or IOS?

If you copy and paste a sample, that would be great.

The output shows the clear text version at least on the Cat 4k I
tested.

If you do a sh btp stat you will see a Md5 hashed version of it
maybe thats what you are thinkjing of.
